SSARC Services

 
At the Social Sciences Academic Resource Center (SSARC), our focus is on helping students within the School of Social Sciences succeed during their time at UCI and beyond. We concentrate our efforts on three key areas:
 

1. Community Building
   • We foster a sense of belonging and connection among social sciences students through events, networking opportunities, and support systems that encourage collaboration and peer engagement.
      
2. Graduate and Professional Schools, and Research
   • We provide guidance and resources for students interested in pursuing graduate studies or engaging in research within the social sciences. Our services include one-on-one consultations, workshops on graduate school applications, and research opportunities.
      
3. Internships and Careers
   • We offer career preparation services to help you secure internships and develop the professional skills needed to thrive in your chosen field. Our team provides individualized career counseling, resume reviews, and hosts large-scale workshops to equip you with the tools you need for success.
